We use 14kt gold for its durability, ensuring secure settings for diamonds. Platinum is also available upon request. We avoid 18kt and 20kt gold as they are softer and less secure for diamond settings. All our gold is 100% recycled, emphasizing our commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
2. What karat gold do you use in your jewelry?
At Embrace Diamonds, we primarily use 14kt solid gold for its strength and durability. While 14kt is our standard, we are happy to create pieces in 18kt gold upon request. We do not offer other karat options (such as 10k or 22k) at this time.
3. What diamond color and clarity do you use?
For Star Melle diamonds, we typically use a color range from G-I and VS-SI clarity. For solitaires, we work with a color range of D-J and do not go below VS2 clarity to maintain high quality. All our solitaires are certified by reputable labs such as GIA, IGI, and HRD, while all our jewelry is certified by IGI for authenticity and quality.
4. Are your colored stones natural?
We primarily use synthetic colored stones in our jewelry for their quality and consistency. However, if you prefer natural colored stones or have a specific gemstone in mind, we’re happy to curate it for you and incorporate it into your design.
5. How can I verify if my Embrace piece is authentic?
We provide an authenticity card with every piece of jewelry. For diamonds, we offer IGI certification, and all our gold is hallmarked and laser-engraved on the piece for verification. This ensures the authenticity of both the materials and craftsmanship.
6. Is your gold certified and hallmarked?
Yes, all our gold is HUID hallmarked, ensuring authenticity and purity. We offer hallmarking for all our gold jewelry, meeting the highest standards of certification and quality.
7. Do you offer custom jewelry services?

Pendants are sold without chains. However, we offer a variety of chains that you can purchase separately to complement your pendant.

Yes, you can customize the size for most rings. However, eternity bands typically cannot be resized. To order a custom ring size, simply select the “Customize” option on the product page or DM us on WhatsApp with your request. We do offer a standard size range for all our rings, but custom sizes are available upon request.
11. What if I don’t know my ring size?

Yes, every piece of jewelry from Embrace Diamonds comes with a certificate. You will receive a hard certificate card from IGI to verify the authenticity and certification of your jewelry.
13. What should I do if I lose my jewelry certificate?
If you lose your jewelry certificate, you can request a duplicate electronic copy. If you require a physical certificate, you’ll need to send the jewelry back to us for re-grading at the lab, which incurs a fee of ₹3,500. To request a replacement, simply email us or DM us on WhatsApp, and we’ll guide you through the process.
14. Can I resize my ring?
Ring resizing is possible depending on the design, but eternity rings typically cannot be resized. Custom-designed rings may also be resizable, depending on the specifics of the design. The resizing process generally takes about 1 week.
EXCHANGE & BUYBACK POLICY
Lifetime Exchange Policy
1. What is Embrace Diamonds’ Lifetime Exchange Policy?
At Embrace Diamonds, we believe your jewelry should evolve with you. You can visit us at any time to exchange your piece for an upgrade, as styles and preferences change. To be eligible for an exchange, simply bring the original invoice and the original hard copy of the jewelry certificate. For solitaires, the original certificate for the solitaire is also required. This ensures a smooth and transparent exchange process.
2. How is the exchange value determined?
The exchange value is determined based on the current market rates for gold, natural diamonds, and natural colored gemstones. For exchanges, we consider 100% of the natural diamond and natural gemstone value, along with the prevailing gold rate, ensuring a fair and accurate valuation. This is applicable only for exchanges, not for buy-back.
3. Are there any non-refundable charges in the exchange process?
Yes, GST and making charges are not included in the exchange value. GST is a government tax, and making charges cover the labor cost for crafting the piece, both of which are non-refundable. There are no other fees that won’t be credited toward the exchange.
4. Can I exchange my jewelry for a new piece of greater value?
Yes, you can exchange your jewelry for a new piece of greater value. Once the value of your existing piece is determined, the difference will be calculated against the price of the new piece. If the new piece is of higher value, you will need to pay the balance amount. If the new piece is of lesser value, the remaining amount will be credited to your Embrace account as credits (1 credit = 1 rupee). Please note that credits cannot be encashed.
Lifetime Buy-Back Policy
5. What is Embrace Diamonds’ Buy-Back Policy?
At Embrace Diamonds, we offer a Buy-Back Policy for customers who wish to return their jewelry. You can return your piece at any time, as long as you are with the original invoice and hard copy of the jewelry certificate. For solitaires, the original solitaire certificate is also required. This ensures that your investment is protected and allows you to liquidate your jewelry should your preferences change.
6. Is there any deduction for the buy-back process?
Yes, the buy-back value is calculated based on the current market value of gold, natural diamonds, and natural colored stones. For natural diamonds and natural colored jewelry, a 10% deduction will be applied to the diamond value. Additionally, if the jewelry or solitaire certificate is missing, a fixed deduction of INR 3,500 will apply per missing certificate. For larger solitaires, the deduction may increase. Buy-back or exchange will not be accepted unless the amount for the missing certificates is paid.
7. What happens if I choose the buy-back option for my jewelry?
If you choose the buy-back option, the final buy-back value will be credited to your Embrace account as Embrace Cash, which is valid for 365 days. This credit can be used for any future purchases or redeemed in-store.
No Cash Refunds
Cash refunds are not available under the buy-back policy. The buy-back amount will be credited as Embrace Cash (1 Embrace Cash = 1 Indian Rupee), offering you the flexibility to use it for future purchases at Embrace Diamonds.
8. Are there any limitations or conditions on the Lifetime Exchange and Buy-Back Policy?
Yes, the final value determination for exchange or buy-back is made solely by Embrace Diamonds, based on current market conditions and the assessment of the jewelry. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the policy at any time, and all changes will be communicated through official channels.
9. What happens if I choose to use the exchange or buy-back value as store credit?
If you choose to use the exchange or buy-back value as store credit, the value will be credited to your Embrace Diamonds account as Embrace Cash, which is valid for 365 days. Embrace Cash cannot be encashed or transferred, but it can be used for future purchases at Embrace Diamonds.
